With over thirty-five years of leadership at of one of the nation’s premier independent schools, Peter offers families an unrivaled depth of expertise.

The former Director of Admission at The Taft School (CT), Peter was the primary architect of the the school’s competitive boarding school enrollment process for decades. Peter was also a leading voice within the Ten Schools Admissions Organization and the Enrollment Management Association for years, and is currently a board member at ASSIST.

Peter’s strategic insights are shaped by a career spent evaluating thousands of candidates and their families, giving him a nuanced, insider understanding of how selective admission committees identify and assess student potential. Mark Traina

After nearly three decades of experience in New England boarding schools, Mark has a true insider’s perspective on the complexities of the modern admissions landscape and the student experience more broadly.

From his time as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions at The Taft School (CT), Mark developed a nuanced understanding of the enrollment process at elite institutions and how students can best position themselves for successful school searches.

Having served as Dean of Students at Taft, Kent School (CT) and St. George’s School (RI), Mark also taught history and coached varsity sports for more than twenty-five years. He spent his career evaluating potential and supporting students from every angle, and understands firsthand both the unique elements of the boarding school experience and the demands of succeeding at the highest levels.
